Hello Mello everyone,

Welcome to my blog,

First and foremost, I’ll be using Manglish language here, aka Rojak. Why? Because I got no time to correct my grammar, and I’m super excited to write about this. Plus baru ada feeeeel and showing off that I’m Malaysian, haha. My first story is about Noah’ little adventure during the previous weekend. He turned 11 month y/o recently, and closerrrr to turn 1 soon. (26 September).

Noah and I moved to Johor, (Desaru Coast to be specific) about 8 months ago, right after my confinement, (sebelum Noah, had LDR with husband) and baru sekarang nak bawa Noah jalan-jalan Johor sikit sebab dia dah besar.

His first stop was Thomas Town. A theme park. I decided to go to Thomas Town sebab baru dapat tahu the place is going to close soon 😦 Maybe on December this year or January 2020, and I’ve done a bit of research if its worth going.

THE BUILDING For those who are not so familiar with the area or not a Johorian/local people, Thomas Town is located in Puteri Harbour and it took us around 1 hour+ from Desaru. In this one big building, ada few shops including, Hello Kitty Town, Starbuck, Toy’s US and many more, (please don’t imagine JPO)

This place is a kid-friendly , selesa and kemudahan penting such as diaper changing room or family room ada disediakan. Nak chill lama-lama with kids pun takde masalah.

TICKETING

Adult – RM79, Kid – RM79 Kids below 2 years old are free. Boleh keluar masuk pada hari yang sama sahaja, feel free to go to the website kalau nak update about promotions or anything 🙂

We decided to go to Thomas Town ONLY instead of buying two pass (Thomas Town & Hello Kitty Town) well, price is slightly cheaper if you buy two pass ticket. No offence, but I’m not a fan of Hello Kitty or pink.

PLAY TIME At first, we thought (well according to my husband), there is nothing much that Noah would be able to play sebab according to the rules in their website, kid needs to has certain height for certain activities.

LUCKILY, baby is allowed to experience all the rides and swings if accompany by the parent. YAHOOOO! Noah experienced almost everything there and I must say, it was worth the money. I was happy, Noah was a bit scared at first and lepas tu dia enjoyyyy sajosssss.

There are quite a number of playgrounds yang BEST bukan bishe-bishe so memang puas hati kalau yang ada anak ramai. We reached there around 1pm and masa tu memang tak ramai org, so kalau nak datang before tempat ni tutup, tak perlu risau about the crowd eh. We had our good time till 4pm and the crowds masih logik akal la, haha. Tak sesak, tempat bersih, everything is still new and well-managed, ada Air-Con 🙂

PERFORMANCE & MEET AND GREET

Barney's friends

Ada few performances tau from cartoon characters such as Barney & Friends, Thomas & Friends, Bob The Builder, and few more. I have to admit la, I pun enjoy all the performances 🙂 Make sure ya’ll check dulu dekat SCHEDULE BOARD  time allocate for the each performance ok.

TEA TIME Since Noah is still a baby, I dah siap bawa bekal dia from home, but for the parents ada food courts inside Thomas Town and few cafes in the building also. This was us having our tea time dekat DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe. Yummy browniesssss! Dessert for lifeeeee.

PUTERI HARBOUR Lepas dah penat gile layan boss kecik, we took a scenic walk along the harbour head. Boleh la tengok kapal-kapal besar yang tengah relax dekat situ, hehe sambil dipukul angin sepoi-sepoi bahasa, kalau nak makan makanan yang heavy, tak banyak options sebab most of the cafes kat situ macam bars and they are selling alcoholic drinks.

So glad that we decided to spent out Saturday at Thomas Town. I still can’t fathom, why that lovely place has to close permanently soon 😦

THE END.
